W was retained at concept stage to undertake the launch of this ground-breaking space for food, retail, design and community creativity. Our programme, built around locally-focused messaging and influencer engagement, positioned the development as a vital element in Brixton’s ongoing regeneration.

We worked with grassroots organisations and local government, and partnered with relevant stakeholders to engage local, London and national media. Placing the specific business and food and drink offerings at the heart of the campaign, we created an ongoing programme of activity to ensure that the first six months of Pop Brixton were as successful as possible.

Originally envisaged as a temporary pop-up, the project is now a permanent and much-loved fixture on the capital’s social and cultural scene.
